Welcome to the new YIS Honmoku Campus
Shortly after Yokohama International School relocated to a new campus, I put together this short video intended to showcase to the greater YIS community some of the recent events and ways in which the students were enjoying their new home.
YIS Student Leadership Retreat
This special daylong event was designed to help students answer the question of what it means to be a good leader, and to provide them with a framework to develop leadership skills. This video looks back on this day and highlights some of the takeaways expressed by the participants.
Farewell to YIS Yamate-cho Campus
After nearly a century at its original site, Yokohama International School was ready to make a leap to its new home. This video, using archival footage, interviews with long-serving YIS community members, and current students, was created to commemorate the spirit of the community and its history.
Wall Mural Timelapse
This video demonstrates the creative process of a talented young art student. He chose to honor the history of Yokohama International School by creating a mural dedicated to the old school campus, which he calls “Windows into Time.”
